How many followers do I need to get started?
Since brands often use UGC (User-Generated Content) separately from the creator's account, such as to run as social media ads or on the brand's own page, my method does not rely on a certain follower count. I've had students land their first paid deal with as little as 600 followers!
Will I need to post on social media?
Yes! While you do not need a large social media following, you should be willing to promote yourself & business on social media at least twice per week to help attract brands/clients to you. (I'll teach you exactly how)
Will I need to invest in any equipment or software?
You can start with nothing but your phone, wifi, a window for lighting & a free editing app. Investing in upgraded equipment is optional depending on your goals! In the course, I'll break down all of your free options as well as my favorite paid tools & softwares so you can choose what's best for you.
Does this course cover the legal/accounting stuff?
Yep! While I am not a lawyer nor accountant, & thus cannot provide official legal nor finance advice, I do break down my personal experience with contracts as well as when & how to manage steps for self-employment & taxes. You'll also receive my personal recommendations of accountants & lawyers if you do need further assistance in this area.
